Electric vehicle charging company EverCharge has announced that it will unveil COVE, a charging solution for single-family homes, at CES 2023. COVE will be featured at EverCharge parent company SK’s 13,000 sq ft booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
COVE is the company’s first direct-to-consumer electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) designed specifically for use in single-family homes. It allows for high-speed charging and is compatible with all electric vehicles on the market. The system can be monitored in real time through WiFi connectivity and the EverCharge app. COVE can be installed indoors or outdoors and is part of a wider company rebrand.
âAt EverCharge, we are committed to ensuring every community can participate in the transition to electric mobility â and single-family home charging options are critical to empowering drivers to charge when and where they need,â said Jason Appelbaum, CEO of EverCharge. âCOVE is designed to transform the single-family charging experience by providing an intelligent combination of power and flexibility, paired with a beautiful and sustainable design. Weâre proud to continue accelerating the path to achieving global electrification goals and look forward to unveiling COVE at CES 2023.â
The launch of COVE comes on the heels of EverChargeâs recent announcement of the opening new 30,000 sq ft factory in Hayward, California. As one of the few companies that manufacture their electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) in North America, the opening of the factory represents an opportunity for the creation of new, highly skilled local jobs. EverCharge plans to double its factory workforce by mid-2023. The launch of COVE, a charging solution for single-family homes, comes shortly after this announcement.
