DESCRIPTION:The 19th Beijing International Automobile Exhibition\, also known as Auto China 2026\, is scheduled to take place in Beijing from April 24 to May 3\, 2026. The 10-day event will open with press days on April 24–25\, followed by professional visitor days on April 26–27\, before welcoming the general public from April 28 through May 3. \nFirst launched in 1990\, the Beijing auto show is held biennially and is regarded as one of China’s major automotive exhibitions. The most recent edition was held from April 25 to May 4\, 2024. \nOrganizers said the 2024 event featured 117 global vehicle debuts\, including 30 models from multinational manufacturers and 41 concept cars. The show attracted around 892\,000 visitors over 10 days\, among them about 23\,000 journalists and industry professionals. \nAuto China 2026 will be staged at the China International Exhibition Center’s Shunyi New Venue\, alongside all exhibition halls at the Capital International Exhibition Convention Center (CIECC). Including outdoor displays\, the total exhibition area is expected to reach a record 380\,000 square meters. \nThe CIECC\, located next to the Shunyi New Venue\, has completed the second phase of its construction and is set to become operational by February 2025. The facility comprises nine pavilions\, each covering about 22\,000 square meters\, with a combined indoor exhibition space of roughly 250\,000 square meters.
