DESCRIPTION:CharIN Testival & Conference EUROPE 2026 will take place from September 22–25\, 2026\, at the All Electric Society Park in Blomberg\, Germany\, bringing together electric vehicle manufacturers\, charging infrastructure providers\, technology companies\, engineers and other stakeholders from the global e-mobility ecosystem. \nHosted by Phoenix Contact\, the event combines a strategic conference with hands-on interoperability testing of electric vehicle charging technologies. The program focuses on the practical implementation of reliable\, interoperable and high-performance charging infrastructure as the mobility and energy sectors become increasingly interconnected. \nThe event begins on September 22 with the CharIN Conference EUROPE\, which focuses on integrated energy solutions and the connection between e-mobility\, energy systems\, infrastructure\, electrification\, digitalization and automation. \nThe Testival then runs from September 23 through September 25\, providing a real-world environment where participating companies can test and validate charging technologies\, vehicles\, charging equipment and communication systems. \nThe event will address major developments across the EV charging ecosystem\, including charging interoperability\, high-power charging\, charging standards\, cybersecurity\, energy integration\, battery energy storage systems\, direct-current grids and sector coupling. \nA Public Day on September 23 will provide visitors with access to technical presentations\, facility tours\, demonstrations and discussions about the energy and mobility transition. \nTesting will take place outdoors under tents and solar roofs\, with Phoenix Contact providing a high-power charging station capable of up to 720 kW with a CCS Type 2 interface for demanding next-generation electric vehicle and commercial vehicle testing. \nThe event will bring together vehicle manufacturers\, EV charging equipment manufacturers\, test-system providers\, infrastructure operators\, engineers and technology developers to advance interoperability and the practical deployment of sustainable charging solutions. \nCharIN Testival & Conference EUROPE 2026 will conclude on September 25 following three days of Testival activities.

The event will combine debates\, workshops\, presentations\, networking opportunities and an exhibition showcasing emerging solutions for mobility\, cities\, energy and industry. \nThe 2026 program covers new mobility and transport\, cities and urban innovation\, economy and investments\, energy and infrastructure\, climate policy and health\, security and resilience\, architecture and construction\, and deep-tech transformation. Key topics include electric mobility\, smart cities\, public transportation\, low-emission zones\, clean logistics\, charging infrastructure\, battery technology\, hydrogen\, renewable energy\, artificial intelligence and digitalization. \nThe event is expected to feature approximately 250 program sessions\, 570 speakers\, 7\,500 participants and 12\,000 square meters of exhibition space\, with around 250 partners and exhibitors.
