November 4 - November 5

Hungarian Battery Days 2026 is an international conference focused on battery technology, electric mobility and the development of a competitive and sustainable battery industry in Central and Eastern Europe. The event brings together battery manufacturers, automotive companies, researchers, policymakers, technology providers and industry leaders to discuss market developments, technological innovation and opportunities across the battery value chain.

The conference covers key topics including battery manufacturing, electric vehicle adoption, energy storage systems, battery recycling, critical raw materials, renewable energy integration and industrial decarbonisation. Discussions also examine European battery supply chains, regulatory frameworks, investment trends, manufacturing competitiveness and strategies for improving the sustainability of battery production.

The two-day programme features a professional conference on November 4, followed by exclusive industrial site visits in Debrecen on November 5. These visits include facilities operated by CATL and BMW, offering participants insights into battery cell manufacturing and the integration of battery technology into automotive production.

Held at the Kölcsey Center in Debrecen, Hungary, Hungarian Battery Days provides a platform for knowledge exchange, networking and collaboration among stakeholders working to advance battery innovation, strengthen regional industrial capabilities and support the transition to sustainable mobility and energy storage.
