European Automotive Display Technology Innovation Summit 2027

The European Automotive Display Technology Innovation Summit 2027 will take place on March 9–10, 2027, in Frankfurt, Germany. Organized by ECV International, the summit will bring together automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, semiconductor companies, display manufacturers, testing authorities and technology specialists to discuss developments across the automotive display technology value chain.
The summit focuses on the evolution of digital automotive cockpits and the growing role of large-format, high-resolution displays in vehicle interiors. Topics include cockpit displays, interaction technologies, ultra-wide screens, OLED and QLED technologies, curved and flexible displays, and display systems designed to support connected infotainment, navigation and vehicle functions.
The 2027 agenda also examines display architectures and component technologies, including TDDI, multi-chip cascade solutions, power-efficient display architectures, optical bonding materials and display system integration. Sessions will explore how display technology can contribute to premium cockpit experiences while addressing power consumption, thermal performance and electromagnetic interference.
Augmented reality and projection-based head-up displays are another major focus, with discussions covering AR-HUD, PHUD, technical architectures and industrialization pathways. The program also addresses automotive display optical testing, safety requirements and performance standards, providing a forum for technical knowledge exchange and industry networking.
