Elon Musk has reportedly moved as many as 17 senior executives from Tesla, SpaceX, and Boring to work on Twitter, reports CNBC.

There are at least 11 senior leaders at Tesla who have been authorized for the job, added CNBC.

Elon Musk cut about 70% of Twitter’s workforce of 7,500 in the weeks after he bought the company.

Of the more than a dozen senior executives switching roles, there was SpaceX CFO Bret Johnsen, and Tesla’s chief information officer, Nagesh Saldi, according to CNBC, which cited internal records and company sources.

They are believed to be among some 150 employees Elon Musk has recruited to Twitter from various other ventures.

Elon Musk is also alleged to have enlisted his cousin and some of his supporters to work on Twitter, Insider reports.

Since acquiring Twitter in October, Elon Musk has laid off or fired about 70% of the company’s 7,500 workforce, including top executives.

At least 11 senior Tesla executives have been authorized to work at Twitter, including Silvio Brugada, director of software engineering, and RJ Sekator, project manager for Autopilot.

Elon Musk also green-lit at least three senior SpaceX executives and three more from The Boring Co. to work on Twitter.

Twitter, Tesla, SpaceX, The Boring Co., and the executives named in this report did not immediately respond to requests for comment, which were made outside of normal US operating hours.

In October, CNBC reported Elon Musk brought in 50 Tesla engineers to work on Twitter, including five senior leaders.

In November, Elon Musk told a Delaware court that Tesla engineers had volunteered to work for Twitter.
