The Shenzhen-based company, which raised $100 million last year from a domestic automaker to accelerate deployment of its technology, aims to scale rapidly. DeepRoute.ai expects nearly 200,000 vehicles equipped with its systems to be on Chinese roads by the end of 2025, up from around 20,000 currently.
The firm plans to deploy its technology in more than 10 vehicle models through partnerships with automakers by 2025. Two new models, including one under the smart brand backed by Geely and Mercedes-Benz, are scheduled to be released to consumers this year.
