Chevrolet is gearing up to launch its all-new, all-electric Chevrolet Blazer, offering three distinct trim levels with varying features and price points. The first production units of the Blazer RS AWD are already in production and are expected to arrive at dealerships in August, priced at an MSRP of $60,215. This trim boasts an impressive range of 279 miles (449 km) on a full charge.
While the RS RWD and 2LT AWD versions will follow with production and deliveries scheduled for a later date, Chevrolet has not specified exact timelines. The RS RWD comes with an MSRP of $61,790 and offers an estimated range of 320 miles, while the 2LT AWD is priced at $56,715, providing the same range as the RS AWD.
In an effort to discourage dealers from marking up the Blazer EV, Chevrolet has already proactively reached out to them, though past efforts have seen mixed results. It remains to be seen how successful this approach will be for the latest electric offering.
Notably, there has been no official word from Chevrolet about the 1LT, the entry-level version of the Blazer EV, which was previously announced to start at $44,995. However, the 1LT information is still available on Chevy’s website, and the company has promised to release further details about this and other yet-to-be-released trims like the SS in the future. While the RS and 2LT models come at a higher price, Chevrolet assures customers that they are “highly contented with features we know our customers want.”
Regardless of the trim level, every Blazer EV will come equipped with an impressive array of features, including a 17.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 11-inch driver information display, faux leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated exterior mirrors, a wireless charging pad, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view camera system. Such a comprehensive list of features aligns with the premium nature of this electric vehicle.
As anticipation builds for the arrival of the all-new Chevrolet Blazer EV, potential buyers are eagerly waiting for more information on the remaining trim levels and pricing details, which are expected to be unveiled by Chevrolet in due course.
