Ford’s electric vehicle (EV) sales in the US increased by 41% in the first quarter of 2023, selling a total of 10,866 units. Despite the overall growth, the company’s Mustang Mach-E model saw a decline in sales, dropping by 19.7% compared to last year. The F-150 Lightning truck, however, sold 4,291 units, and the E-Transit had a significant increase in sales by 62.7%. X Shore, a Swedish-based electric boat manufacturer, has successfully completed another funding round, raising 300 million Swedish kroner or a little over $29 million. The company plans to use the funds to scale up production and achieve profitability by next year.
