NISSAN plans to produce all-solid-state batteries that will be used in electric vehicles (EVs) in the future. Solid-state batteries will replace the lithium-ion batteries currently in use. The grand plan will start with building a pilot production line at the Yokohama Factory, Japan in fiscal year 2024.
