From the spyshots circulating on the internet, it looks like the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N has wider legs than the standard IONIQ 5. The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N will also be equipped with the same 21-inch alloy wheels and four-piston brake calipers as the Kia EV6 GT.
Since all cars coming from the Hyundai N division are designed for track use, the front bumper of the IONIQ 5 N appears lower than the standard IONIQ 5. This lower bumper is intended to allow more air to enter the radiator to keep the battery cool.
On the mechanical side, the IONIQ 5 N is rumored to be equipped with the same battery and motor as the Kia EV6 GT. In the Kia EV6 GT, the battery and electric motor are capable of spewing power up to 577 HP with a peak torque of 740 Nm.
Hyundai will also introduce the same N Sound+ feature as the RN22e concept to enhance the driving experience. In addition, there will be a N e-shift feature that simulates gearshift for those who want the sensation of a manual gearbox.
