ADS-TEC Energy and Paragon Mobility have announced a strategic partnership to roll out ultra-fast, battery-buffered EV charging stations across France, aiming to boost the nation’s charging infrastructure. The collaboration has already launched the first ChargePost EV chargers, capable of delivering up to 300 kW of power, even in areas with limited grid capacity. This initiative aligns with the growing demand for EV infrastructure, driven by over 206,000 new EV registrations in France this year alone.
Henrik Langwald, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales at ADS-TEC Energy, expressed optimism about the partnership: “With Paragon Mobility, we have a strong and competent partner at our side who will implement exciting and inspiring projects with our products in France and elsewhere.” Jean Lemaire, CEO of Paragon Mobility, added, “With these first signature deployments with ADS-TEC Energy in France, combining super charging with battery storage in low grid connection sites, we have started to write down a remarkable page in energy transition.”
The ChargePost chargers integrate 75-inch LED displays, enabling digital advertising as an additional revenue stream. Equipped with a 201 kWh battery, these units can also utilize renewable energy sources and offer bidirectional grid support, allowing energy to flow back into the grid as needed. The modular systems can link to create virtual power plants, supporting energy management for vehicles including cars, buses, and trucks.
Paragon Mobility, recognized in 2023 for excellence in energy distribution and infrastructure, aims to make EV charging more accessible and efficient across France, supporting the nation’s energy transition and fostering trust in EV infrastructure through reliable, high-performance solutions.
