Rimac Group has completed the first phase of its new Campus in Croatia, a 75,000 m² production facility that marks a significant milestone for the company.
With production already underway, this phase accounts for approximately 70% of the entire project, which will ultimately support hypercar development, battery production, and research for both Rimac Technology and Bugatti Rimac.
The total investment in the project so far stands at 120 million EUR, with the final costs expected to exceed 300 million EUR once phase two is complete.
Designed by Croatian architecture firm 3LHD, the facility features cutting-edge capabilities, including hypercar assembly, CNC machining, composite manufacturing, and a paint shop. The production building’s unique design integrates green atriums, six-meter-high ceilings, and an aluminum façade, blending functionality with environmental aesthetics. The project emphasizes flexibility for future expansion, utilizing prefabricated concrete and steel elements for rapid construction.
Currently, 400 employees are working at the new Campus, with that number expected to rise to 2,500 upon full completion. The Rimac Campus will serve as a hub for the development of premium technology solutions for both the mobility and energy sectors, including several high-volume battery projects for European car manufacturers.
