Chevrolet Opens Orders for the 2025 Blazer EV, Featuring Increased Range and Lower Starting Price

Chevrolet has officially opened orders for the 2025 Blazer EV, marking an exciting addition to its electric vehicle lineup. The new electric SUV is priced starting at $45,995, making it more accessible while boasting enhanced range capabilities.

Building on the momentum from its best EV sales month in August, Chevrolet aims to sustain this growth as the year draws to a close. The 2025 Blazer EV will be offered in a comprehensive trim lineup, including front-wheel drive (FWD), all-wheel drive (AWD), rear-wheel drive (RWD), and a high-performance SS variant.

Notable improvements in the 2025 Blazer EV include increased range and horsepower in both the AWD and RWD trims compared to the previous model year. The introduction of new options, such as the Midnight and Sport packages for the LT trim, enhances customization for buyers.

Additionally, GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology is now standard on the SS model and available on the LT and RS AWD variants. A two-tone roof option will also be offered for the LT and RS models, adding to the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal.

The starting price of $45,995 applies to the FWD trim, which is anticipated to become available by the end of the year. For those seeking the AWD variant, the starting price is $48,995, now featuring an EPA-estimated range of 283 miles, a slight increase from 279 miles in the 2024 model.

The RWD variant of the 2025 Blazer EV starts at $56,990 and offers an EPA-estimated range of 334 miles, up from 324 miles in the prior year. The performance-oriented SS variant, priced at $61,995, is set to launch in the first quarter of 2025.

All purchases of the new Blazer EV are eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit. Chevrolet has indicated that further details regarding the FWD and SS trims will be released closer to their respective launch dates, keeping customers informed as the rollout progresses.
