SANY eTrucks, a Chinese manufacturer specializing in electric heavy goods vehicles and construction machinery, is expanding its presence in Europe with the introduction of a new electric roll-off tipper. The vehicle is equipped with a Hyva hook system and powered by batteries from CATL, highlighting the company’s continued push into the European market.

The new electric tipper, built on a 4-axle chassis, is designed to handle a variety of loads and containers, making it suitable for heavy-duty use in the construction industry. SANY emphasizes the vehicle’s durability and reliability, describing it as a “cost-effective choice for companies.” In a statement, the company noted, “SANY eTrucks with their 8×4 configuration are designed for heavy-duty use in the construction industry and offer high reliability and durability, making them a cost-effective choice for companies.”

While specific technical details were not disclosed, SANY claims that the vehicle’s performance has been enhanced through advanced technical solutions and CATL’s battery technology. The company highlighted that “hookloader operations are now faster, safer, more efficient, and more productive than ever before” due to the extended range of features and benefits.

The exact markets for the electric roll-off tipper’s release in Europe have not been revealed, but SANY will be supported by Putzmeister in its marketing efforts. Kevin Eichele, Head of Product & Business Development at SANY eTrucks Europe, commented on the expansion, stating, “With the introduction of electric hooklifts on a 4-axle chassis, we are further expanding the SANY eTrucks portfolio in Europe and setting an important milestone in the development of environmentally friendly and efficient commercial vehicles. Our customers benefit from increased productivity and lower operating costs while reducing their environmental footprint.”

SANY, already well-established in China, has been gradually increasing its presence in Europe, having first ventured outside its home market in June with the launch of an electric excavator in the Netherlands.
