Reports surfaced initially on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum, where users shared images and videos of the unique configuration.
According to a user known as DoberManPin-Sure on the forum, who recently took delivery of his Cybertruck Foundation Series unit, Tesla’s customer service during the delivery process was praised for its exceptional quality. He noted, “Customers were even treated to a light show from some of the vehicles that were being delivered.”

Comparing the actual Tactical Grey interior seen in photos to Tesla’s configurator images, enthusiasts observed a slightly lighter shade. Despite this discrepancy, members of the Cybertruck Owners Club expressed a preference for the Tactical Grey option over the vehicle’s standard white interior, which offers a softer and more pristine aesthetic.
The Tactical Grey interior is expected to appeal particularly to users intending to utilize the Cybertruck for practical purposes. “The vehicle’s white interior, after all, could be quite risky if the Cybertruck is transporting work materials and equipment all the time,” noted one club member. This color choice transforms the Cybertruck into a utility vehicle suitable for fleets, including applications in law enforcement, government agencies, and various businesses.
As Tesla phases out the Foundation Series, these early deliveries underscore the growing demand for distinct interior configurations in the all-electric pickup truck market.
