Husqvarna, renowned for its electric lawnmowing robots and motorcycle/scooter concepts, ventures further into the construction domain with the launch of the DXR 95 electric demolition robot. Tailored for indoor demolition tasks in confined spaces, the DXR 95 is compact enough to fit within a standard work van yet robust enough to handle steep 30° inclines.
Marking the fifth addition to Husqvarna’s lineup of demolition robots, the DXR 95 boasts a 13 hp electric powertrain, capable of delivering up to 3,626 psi to the end-of-arm tool. This power enables seamless execution of demolition tasks such as rock breaking and chimney removal. Moreover, the robot ensures consistent performance throughout its duty cycle, thanks to Husqvarna’s advanced thermal management technology.
Daniel Lundberg, global product manager at Husqvarna Construction, emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing user-friendliness and performance in demolition robotics. “The DXR95 raises the bar for user-friendliness and performance in demolition robots,” Lundberg stated, highlighting the robot’s efficiency in diverse job environments.

Notably, the DXR 95’s versatility extends beyond geographic constraints, as its compact footprint and lightweight design facilitate maneuverability within structures. Equipped with remote control operation and dual tank treads, the robot navigates through cramped spaces, steep inclines, and even stairs while ensuring operator safety.

“The DXR 95 answers the demand for a demolition robot that can fit into cramped or fragile environments,” Lundberg noted, emphasizing its adaptability to various job scenarios.
Key features of the DXR 95 include dual joysticks and knobs for intuitive operation, machine feedback via written messages, and multilingual support for operators. Additionally, the robot boasts a heavy-duty arm system, automatic greasing of the breaker for extended service intervals, and modular components for simplified on-site maintenance.
