Unlike other Tesla Superchargers, this Supercharger V4 in Arizona will have 1 wire per station.
For now, the V3 Supercharger’s power is 250 kW, but they will also be upgraded over time in succession. to be able to provide a charging speed of more than 300 kW.
Tesla’s older Supercharger V2 currently produces a peak output of 150 kW, up 120 kW from the original.
To date, there is no official information regarding the voltages this V4 station will run, but according to insideEVs, all current Tesla models have a 400-volt architecture.
Tesla made no announcements about the voltage increase for this new Supercharger.
On September 8, Elon Musk’s electric car maker began voting for consumers to determine where the company would build its new Supercharger.
