Nyck De Vries (Mercedes) managed to reap maximum points after winning the second race of Formula E Germany 2022.
The additional 25 points made him move up two positions from eighth to sixth in the 2022 Formula E standings.
However, it is his partner Stoffel Vandoorne who is firmly at the top of the standings after scoring three podiums in both German Formula E 2022 races.
These results produced 30 points for Vandoorne and made him firmly at the leader of the 2022 Formula E standings with a total of 111 points.
However, Edoardo Mortara (Venturi) is not far behind Vandoorne in second place in the standings with 99 points.
With one win, one second podium finish and two pole positions, Mortara has accumulated a total of 50 points over the two 2022 German Formula E races.

The addition brought Mortara over Jean-Eric Vergne (DS Techeetah), Mitch Evans (Jaguar), and Robin Frijns (Envision) from fifth place.
Gaining victory through De Vries and two podiums through Vandoorne in the 2022 German Formula E, Mercedes is also firmly at the top of the team standings.
In total, the squad from the German manufacturer managed to score 176 points during the first eight series of Formula E 2022.
They are 27 points ahead of Venturi who is now in second place in the team standings with 148 points.
Venturi managed to shift DS Techeetah from the temporary second position, after the two drivers, namely Jean-Eric Vergne and Antonio Felix Da Costa, performed less than optimally.
Especially in the second race of Formula E Germany 2022, where Vergne and Da Costa were only able to scoop up 10 points in total.
While Jaguar and Porsche are stable in fourth and fifth positions in the provisional team standings of the 2022 Formula E.
