Hyundai Mobis said it secured $9.17 billion in global orders in 2025 from automakers outside its parent group, beating its annual target by 23% as demand for electrification components and electronic systems rose and its customer base expanded in China and India.
The South Korea-based automotive supplier had initially targeted $7.45 billion in orders for the year. The stronger-than-expected performance was driven mainly by contracts for battery systems and chassis modules from North American and European customers, as well as increased orders for advanced electronic components, the company said.

Electrification-related contracts, including Battery Systems Assembly (BSA) and chassis modules, accounted for a significant share of the total order volume. Hyundai Mobis did not disclose the names of customers or contract values, citing confidentiality and the potential for changes before mass production. Such contracts typically result in long-term supply relationships, often lasting 10 to 20 years, due to joint investments in manufacturing facilities and logistics. The supplier has worked with Stellantis on chassis modules since 2005.
The company also expanded its electronic components business, securing orders for Human-Machine Interface products from a major North American customer and widening sound system supply agreements with a sedan-focused brand. Hyundai Mobis said it is in talks with additional global automakers over further HMI contracts.

Growth in emerging markets also supported order momentum. In India, Hyundai Mobis said a tailored component strategy helped capture demand as local brands increased market share, while in China it won new orders from domestic electric vehicle makers through competitive sourcing of braking, steering and safety systems.
“We plan to accelerate order acquisition by leveraging our competitiveness in electrification and electronic components, while applying region-specific sales strategies,” said Jae-mok Cho.
Looking ahead, Hyundai Mobis set a 2026 global order target of about $11.84 billion, implying growth of around 30% year-on-year. The target assumes stable demand for core components, potential large-scale module orders and continued expansion across key regions.
