Holon, a subsidiary of German automotive supplier Benteler, has expanded its leadership team as it prepares to commercialise its autonomous electric shuttle, the company said.
The company appointed Martin Lischka and Jonas Seyfferth to senior roles aimed at supporting market entry and international growth. Lischka will oversee customer-focused sales activities and brand positioning in key regions including Europe, the United States and the Gulf states, while Seyfferth will focus on strategic development and organisational alignment.

Holon first presented its autonomous shuttle three years ago at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The battery-electric vehicle, now known as the Holon Urban and designed by Pininfarina, is intended to carry up to 15 passengers. It operates at Level 4 autonomy using technology from Mobileye, with a top speed of 60 km/h and a range of about 290 kilometres.
In November 2025, Holon received approval from Germany’s Federal Motor Transport Authority to conduct nationwide testing of the shuttle in autonomous mode with a safety driver, initially through a pilot project in Hamburg.

Looking ahead, Holon plans to begin series production at a new facility in Florida in the second half of 2027. The company has said that ride-hailing firm Lyft intends to integrate the autonomous shuttles into its platform in the United States. Benteler has also announced the acquisition of Ioki, a move aimed at strengthening software, routing and fleet management capabilities for on-demand and autonomous transport services.
Holon said the leadership appointments are intended to reinforce its organisational and commercial capabilities as it moves from pilot projects toward broader deployment of autonomous electric shuttles.
