Dutch e-bike maker Gazelle has launched three new Class 1 models in North America, emphasizing comfort and premium build quality over speed and low-cost competition. The lineup includes the Easyflow C7, Arroyo C5, and Arroyo C380.
The new Easyflow C7 is designed for accessibility, targeting new, aging, or less confident riders. It features a low step-through frame, pedal-forward geometry that allows riders to place both feet on the ground when stopped, and 24-inch wheels for added stability. The bike is equipped with a Shimano EP5 mid-drive motor, a 504 Wh battery, and Gazelle’s adjustable Switch stem.
The company also refreshed its Arroyo series, maintaining Dutch-inspired commuter styling while upgrading motors and components. The Arroyo C5 includes a Bosch Performance Line motor with 75 Nm of torque, a 540 Wh integrated battery, and a Gates belt drive paired with a Shimano Nexus 5 hub. The Arroyo C380 adds an Enviolo continuously variable transmission, Gates belt drive, and a Bosch Kiox 300 display with navigation.
Both Arroyo models come with integrated lighting, gel saddles, and suspension seatposts. Gazelle said its models, manufactured in Europe, are positioned as premium commuter bikes.
The Easyflow C7 is priced at $3,999 in the United States and C$4,999 in Canada. The Arroyo C5 retails for $3,999 in the U.S. and C$5,499 in Canada, while the Arroyo C380 is listed at $4,499 in the U.S. and C$5,999 in Canada. The new models are available through Gazelle dealers across both countries.
