ADASTEC and Beep said on Tuesday they have entered a strategic partnership to deploy autonomous public transit services in the United States, beginning with projects in Georgia and Florida.
The alliance brings together ADASTEC’s SAE Level-4 automated driving software, flowride.ai, and Beep’s AutonomOS platform, which manages fleet orchestration, vehicle monitoring, and operational support. The companies said the aim is to provide scalable, safe and efficient transit solutions for municipalities, campuses, airports and private communities.
“This partnership enables scalable deployments of factory-fitted automated buses, combining ADASTEC’s advanced technology with Beep’s operational expertise,” said ADASTEC CEO Dr. Ali Peker. Beep CEO Kevin Reid added: “This alliance extends our solutions to higher-capacity vehicles, connecting people to essential services more safely and efficiently.”
ADASTEC said its system, which integrates LiDAR, radar, RGB cameras and high-precision GNSS, enables buses to drive autonomously at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour without human intervention. The technology has been deployed in more than a dozen countries and tested in mixed traffic and varied climates.
The companies said the collaboration complies with Build America, Buy America and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) requirements. “We’re building a strong ecosystem for the future of mobility,” said Cemre Kavvasoglu, ADASTEC’s North America product management director.
The partnership underscores growing interest in shared, autonomous transit solutions in the U.S., where operators and municipalities are exploring alternatives to traditional bus networks to expand service coverage and cut costs.
