Chinese electric vehicle maker Leapmotor has officially launched the updated version of its C11 SUV, introducing both battery electric and extended-range hybrid options built on the company’s Leap 3.5 platform. The refreshed model starts at RMB 149,800 ($20,900), marking a modest increase over the previous generation while coming in below its earlier pre-sale pricing.
The updated C11 is available in five variants — two extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models and three battery electric vehicle (BEV) versions. The EREV options are priced at RMB 149,800 and RMB 159,800, while the BEVs are priced at RMB 149,800, RMB 155,800, and RMB 165,800.

The five-seat midsize SUV maintains the same dimensions as its predecessor, measuring 4,780 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and a wheelbase of 2,930 mm, though the height has been slightly reduced to 1,658 mm.
The new C11 EREV features a 1.5-liter engine paired with a rear electric motor generating 200 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and offers a top speed of 170 km/h. The EREV is equipped with a 41.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, delivering 300 km of all-electric range and up to 1,220 km combined range under CLTC standards.
Meanwhile, the BEV variants are powered by a rear motor producing 220 kW and 360 Nm of torque. These variants can reach 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and have a top speed of 190 km/h. They come with an 81.9 kWh LFP battery pack, supporting a range of 640 km under CLTC testing.

Originally launched in September 2021, the C11 has been updated through multiple platform iterations, most recently shifting from the Leap 2.0 to the Leap 3.5 architecture. The company delivered 4,923 C11 units in June, bringing cumulative deliveries to 256,785 units, according to data from CnEVPost.
The release of the updated C11 continues Leapmotor’s push to refresh its product lineup in 2025. Recent updates have included the C16, C10, and T03 models, as well as the introduction of the new B10 SUV.
