Hyundai has released mileage specifications for the Hyundai IONIQ 6 electric sedan, not making range anxiety you know.
The release of this mileage follows the launch of the Hyundai IONIQ 6 electric car before it officially greets consumers in 2023.
Now one of the requirements before selling the Hyundai IONIQ 6 electric car is testing the mileage and consumption of the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) standard.
“From the beginning of the development of the IONIQ 6, we targeted to make it a leading electric car,” said Jae Ho Huh, Head of Sub-Mid Project Management Center at Hyundai Motor Company.
“To become a global leader in electric vehicles, we are committed to providing the best electric car performance and ownership experience,” Huh added.
Before discussing the mileage, it is worth mentioning that the Hyundai IONIQ 6 is available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options. Not only two drive options, the IONIQ 6 also comes with a 53 kWh Standard Range battery and a 77.4 kWh Long Range battery.
So what are the details of the Hyundai IONIQ 6 WLTP mileage? Starting from the furthest, the IONIQ 6 can cover a distance of 614 kilometers. Hyundai says this distance is obtained by the IONIQ 6 battery variant Long Range rear-wheel drive with 18-inch rims.
With 20-inch rims, the IONIQ 6 Long Range rear-wheel drive has a WLTP range of 545 kilometers. How about all-wheel drive? Still with the same battery, the IONIQ 6 18-inch rim is said to be able to cover a distance of 583 kilometers.
Then for the 20-inch rim variant, the IONIQ 6 Long Range All-Wheel Drive (AWD) has a WLTP range of 519 kilometers. The last is the IONIQ 6 Standard Range battery variant with 18-inch rims which has a WLTP range of 429 kilometers.
The interesting thing about this variant is that even though it has the shortest distance, it has the lowest electrical energy consumption of 13.9 kWh/100 km.
Hyundai Ioniq 6 will be one of the most efficient EV with energy consumption of 13.9 kWh/100 km
