German car manufacturer Volkswagen has launched its latest production of the ID version which fans all over the world have been waiting for. They finally launched a Buzz van in Paris on Wednesday, March 9th.

This buzz van is a reincarnation of today's electric car from the VW T1, which has been Volkswagen's patron for so long. This new product will go on sale in a number of European countries in the third quarter of 2022.

“The same van will also be launched in the United States by the end of 2023,” the German automaker said in a statement.

They added that the new van is the first in a series of prototypes released in recent decades to finally make it to production.

Eagerly awaited and finally here! The ID. Buzz and the ID. Buzz Cargo combine a past full of emotions with the innovative spirit and latest technology. Both #vwidbuzz models are fully electric and packed with a lot of new features.

The van is made in Hanover, Germany, with modules mostly supplied by Volkswagen Group Components in Germany as well. The vehicle uses an 82 kWh lithium-ion battery and can reach a maximum speed of 90 miles (145km) per hour.

Sources at the company also stated that another version of the vehicle equipped with a battery offering different power outputs will follow next year.

This car is designed with a contemporary spirit, which is economical and environmentally friendly, but still maintains the exotic style of the legendary VW T1.
