Stellantis Group's electric car strategy for a brand from the United States, Jeep, has been prepared. On March 1, a pure electric powered Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) namely the Jeep BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle).

More precisely, the Jeep BEV was introduced during the presentation of the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategy by Carlos Tavares as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stellantis.

It is certain that it is time to put Jeep's step into the 100% electric power industry in the SUV class. As part of a future initiative in electrification in the SUV portfolio.

According to an official release received by the EVMagz editorial team, the earliest Jeep electric car in mass product form will be introduced in early 2023.

Carlos Tavares in Dare Forward 2030 says that Stellantis will be the industry winner in climate change mitigation, becoming carbon clean by 2038, with a 50% reduction by 2030. Taking a leadership role in decarbonization, as well as a decisive step forward in a circular economy.

“As part of that leadership, we are setting a direction for 100% of sales in Europe and 50% of sales in the United States being battery electric vehicles (BEVs) by the end of this decade. We plan to have more than 75 BEVs and achieve global annual BEV sales of approx. five million vehicles by 2030,' he said.

In the next few months, the Jeep BEV will begin to be prepared for its launch.
