German motorcycle manufacturer, Black Tea has just launched their portfolio of electric motorcycles which are equivalent to 125 CC motorcycles.

After launching in 2020 the moped with scramble style, this year Black Tea launched the Bonfire Electric Scrambler with two variants, namely E and X. Both variants are claimed to be more powerful than the previous variant.

The X variant is the most powerful model capable of producing up to 8 kilowatts of power and an average figure of 6 kilowatts. That much power is equivalent to 10 horsepower. The X variant has 195 Nm of torque, with a top speed of up to 59 miles per hour.

The X variant has a range of up to 100 kilometers thanks to two 104V/35Ah batteries. Charging the battery to 80 percent takes three hours.

For the E variant, Black Tea claims the power produced is 3 kilowatts or the equivalent of 4 horsepower. Variant E does not limit rider speed and power output. The top speed that can be achieved in the E variant is 49 miles per hour.

The E and X variants still use the suspension from the S variant with 31mm hydraulic forks with up to 200 millimeters of travel. Both variants use 18-inch wheels and are equipped with Hedenau Dual Sport K60 tires. The braking system uses CBS disc brakes for the front and rear. For a vehicle weighing only 110 kilograms, or 242 pounds.

For the price, the X variant is €5,690 EUR or around $6,200 USD. Meanwhile, the price for the E variant is 4,390 EUR or around $4,800 USD.
